1. Chris Penn
Before Sean Penn really hit the big screen, his brother Chris was already making a name for himself in Hollywood. Known best for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs (1992) and Footloose (1984), Chris was found dead in his Santa Monica home in January 2006. Though marijuana and morphine were found in the actor’s system, the cause of death was actually ruled a heart attack. In an interview later that year, Sean Penn revealed that it was ultimately his brother’s weight that had killed him. Chris was over 300lbs when he passed away and had not treated himself well, frequently turning to alcohol and drugs. He was just 40 years old when he died.
